The coffee giant is looking to open up a new Starbucks at 265 Route 202 in Somers, the former location of Chase Bank, which closed in August 2018.

Developers were in Somers last week to present their proposal to the Town Board as they look to set up their second location in Somers, joining the shop on Birdsell Road in the hamlet of Baldwin Place.

According to reports, the former bank has become a hot property, with both Starbucks and 7-Eleven vying to take over the location next to Taste Deli & Catering and The Dry Cleaner.
